Management Accountant

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting a new role of Management Accountant for a well-established company based near Trafford Park. This role is perfect for someone who is an experienced Management Accountant and will be supporting in delivering results and financial analysis.

As a Management Accountant you will be responsible for:

• Financial Planning and Analysis: Management accountants prepare financial statements for forecasting and budgeting. They use these statements to plan strategies and objectives for the business
• Strategy Development: They analyse operational and financial results to understand company performance and recommend strategy for business improvement
• Cost Management: They identify areas of unnecessary spending and suggest methods for cost-effective management
• Performance Evaluation: Management accountants measure and evaluate business performance against goals and benchmarks
• Managing Financial Systems and Processes: They oversee the financial systems and ensure that they are efficient and meet all regulatory requirements
• Reporting: They prepare and present financial and business reports to the management and stakeholders
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with applicable standards, laws, and regulations is a crucial part of their job

Candidate Requirements:

• Part Qual - CIMA, ACCA or AAT Level 4 Qual
• Previous experience working as a Management Accountant
• Proficient IT skills including excel
