About the Role

As a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring seamless IT operations and outstanding customer experiences. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing 2nd line support to clients, both remotely and onsite.
  • Acting as an escalation point for 1st line support analysts.
  • Handling hardware support, maintenance, and network/telephony troubleshooting.
  • Collaborating on IT projects and delivering solutions that align with customer needs.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal teams to ensure the best customer journey.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a well-rounded IT Support Engineer with solid experience in 2nd line support who's ready for a role offering variety and challenge. You'll need a passion for delivering outstanding service, coupled with the desire to grow your technical knowledge across multiple areas.

Experience in the following areas would be beneficial:

  • Microsoft Windows Server/Desktop environments.
  • Virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V or VMware).
  • Networking fundamentals, including firewalls and server platforms.
  • Backup solutions, remote desktop services, and communications tools.
  • Basic troubleshooting across Unix/Mac platforms.
  • General hardware knowledge, including cabling and terminations.
