We are searching for a Finance Manager to join an impressive Educational client in the Swindon area. This opportunity is ideal for a capable qualified Finance Manager looking to work in partnership with the central team with responsibility for the day-to-day management of the accounting functions . The role is offered on a hybrid basis with 2 days working from home.
Responsibilities
Design and implement financial procedures and systems
Prepare draft annual budget and financial plans
Assist with the accountancy functions such as maintenance of the fixed asset register, depreciation, bank reconcilliation and control account reconsilliation)
Lead financial activities - month end closes, posting accurals and prepayments, journals and VAT
Producing detailed monthly expenditure, financial analysis and reports
Liaising with external teams like Audit, Bank and suppliers and internal such as Management, Reception, IT and Estate Teams
Responsible for financial regulation and audit requirements
Requirements
Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPFA)
Extensive knowledge of MS Office including Advanced Excel
Any Finance experience from Education desirable
Proven experience as a Finance Manager / Business Partner
Driver with own vehicle, living within 45 minutes drive of Swindon
