Production Manager

LOCATION: Liverpool

HOURLY PAY: £40,000-50,000 per annum

PERMANENT

DAILY TIMES: 08.00-16.30 Mon-Fri

VACANCY - PRODUCTION MANAGER

ESS Employment are seeking an experienced Production Manager to work for an established company, to lead and optimise manufacturing operations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Duties:

Production Management

• Oversee all manufacturing processes to ensure timely and efficient production.
• Focus on reducing machine downtime through preventive maintenance.
• Handle scheduling and optimize resource utilization using existing and new systems.

Quality Control

• Enforce rigorous QC standards and address non-conformance issues.
• Collaborate with teams to consistently achieve high-quality output.

Team Leadership

• Manage and motivate the production staff while fostering a culture of accountability.
• Identify and implement staff training and development opportunities.

Operational Efficiency

• Analyse production metrics and implement process improvements.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales to streamline operations.
• Apply lean principles to enhance uptime and efficiency.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years in a similar role within manufacturing.
• Education and training in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred
• Expertise in QC and NCR resolution.
• Proficiency in production scheduling and lean principles is advantageous
• Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in production management tools
