Management Accountant

Robert Half is working with a successful and growing business based in Wigan, the business is seeking a management accountant to join the finance team.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, supporting audit processes, and performing other accounting functions as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Manage general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for multiple entities.
• Support external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and information.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and applicable regulations.
• Assist in the preparation and timely filing of various tax returns.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• Minimum of 2 years' accounting experience in a similar role
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• ERP system experience
