Elevation Accounting and Finance are excited to be working with a fantastic business in Sheffield as they look to recruit a Finance Assistant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The formulation of a detailed budget, three-year forecasts thereafter and quarterly reforecasts of the current year budget
- The provision of monthly management accounts with commentary and exception reporting to assist the on-site management team in decision making
- Supporting the management team with detailed analysis, portal and queries and other financial support in the pursuit of their roles
- Procurement support for the team, assisting with supplier set up, tender exercises and the adherence to procurement guidelines
- Facilitating order production and liaising with the central finance team for invoice matching, processing, payments and other intercompany charges and queries
- Production of the year end budget pack, supporting analysis and evidence to ensure the successful completion of the financial audit
- Production of the year end service charge packs and commentary
- Assist in the processing of procurement contracts via Portal
- Manage and maintain the site’s contract schedule, ensuring all information is accurately recorded and documentation is current
Person Specification:
- Accounting, analytical and numerical
- Financial modelling and accounting systems experience
- Attention to detail
- Communication skills and working cohesively as part of a larger team
- Ability to interpret and understand the business
