Maths Teacher

Role: Maths Teacher 

Location: Bedford 

Start Date: January 2025 

Pay: £150 - £250 

Contract: Long Term 

Reed is currently working with a secondary school based around Bedford, supporting them recruit a Maths teacher to start full time from January 2025. 

This position is long term with the opportunity to transition to a permanent contract. 

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Maths to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, delivering engaging and effective lessons.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the diverse needs of students.

• Assess student progress, providing feedback and support to enhance their understanding.

• Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support student development.

Requirements

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

• Experience in teaching Maths at the secondary level is preferred.

• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.

• Commitment to commuting to schools in and around Biggleswade.

• Excellent communication skills and a passion for education.
