We are seeking a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a dynamic educational environment in Cirencester. This role is set to commence in January 2025 and will initially run until July 2025, with a potential extension.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences in computer science.
• Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
• Use relevant technology to support instruction.
• Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback.
• Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s procedures and disciplinary systems.
• Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs.
• Participate in departmental and school meetings, parent meetings.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Computer Science or a closely related subject.
• Proven experience as a Computer Science Teacher.
• Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school’s policies and procedures.
• Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills.
