Salary: £120 - £260 per day. Dependent on experience.

Contract Type: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM

About them: We are working on behalf of a secondary school located in North Birmingham. The school focusses on their students and preparing them to excel in their futures. It is a lovely school and is rated as a "Good" by Ofsted.

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated art teacher to join their lovely team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality art lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You will inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential and develop a love for art.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and productive space.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• A degree in art or a related field.
• Experience teaching art at secondary school level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for art.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
