Litigation Solicitor

A commercial litigation solicitor is required to join this established firm based out of its office in Manchester city centre.

Role Overview
The successful candidate will join a small established team that acts for a diverse client base.  The firm is heavily linked to the insurance sector and benefits from sourcing good levels of work.  The work does also encompass non-insured clients.
You will be expected to manage your own caseload and play a key part in the team's development and client relationship management.

Work undertaken includes but is not limited to breach of contract, professional negligence, commercial property disputes, rights over land, trespass, restrictive covenants and easements, boundary disputes and debt work.

Candidate Profile

The firm is seeking and property litigation solicitor with the following: 

• A previous track record dealing with property litigation work at a recognised national practice.  As a guide our client would expect someone with a minimum of 5 years pqe.
• Able to deal with cases from instruction through to the end of the litigation process.
• Previous experience of LEI funded cases or recommending reserves on cases to insurers would be beneficial but not essential and full training will be given if you don’t.
• Able to assist in business development and promotion of the team

• You’ll join an established litigation department with good quality work.
• Networking and client relationship building is encouraged and you will have ample opportunity to do this with support form the partners in the team. 
• You’ll join a growing firm which is backed by a multinational insurer and has the resources to facilitate further expansion.
• Salary up to £67000 plus bonus.
