Sewing Machinist

Exciting opportunity for a Sewing Machinist or Seamstress to join a company within the medical sector.

This opportunity sits perfectly for individuals with Industrial Sewing Machine experience who are used to working with high production volumes.

The role will sit in a team of four and you will be guaranteed a friendly and welcoming environment.

Summary & Benefits:

• Sewing Machinist or Seamstress
• Harlow
• Part-Time & Permanent.
• Monday - Friday (3- 5 days per week)
• Up to £24,000 per annum (Pro Rata)

Key Duties:

• Producing x ray protective equipment and clothing for leading suppliers of medical equipment.
• To use lock stitch, binding and zig zag machines as per instructions/training.
• To sew cut parts into complete items referencing templates, work instructions and/or samples to product x ray shields.
• To cut materials and trims following patterns to produce aprons.

About You:

• Industrial Sewing Machine experience
• Experience of producing high production volumes
