Financial Planner, Leads Provided with Potential Equity Stake

Our client, an extremely well-established Mortgage Advice business based in Cambridgeshire, with 14 Mortgage Advisers, is looking for an experienced Financial Planner to take on the Financial Planning side of the business.

The business currently looks after circa 140 clients with £35m - £40m FUM, but there are around 4000 existing Mortgage clients who are untapped for Financial Planning advice, together with a significant number of ongoing new leads.

For the successful recruit, the role offers the opportunity to manage and grow the Financial Planning division and to acquire an equity stake going forward.

Paraplanning and administration support is available, and the firm is part of a Financial Planning network, hence additional help and support is available through this channel.

The role offers flexible working although, in order to build rapport with the Mortgage Advisers and fully capitalise on potential leads, it would make sense to work from the Cambridgeshire office at least 3 days per week.

There is significant flexibility around package, which will depend on experience, qualifications and track record but minimum basic salary is expected to be £50K. There will also be a generous bonus arrangement meaning that overall earnings are unlimited.

To be considered, you will currently be working in an IFA role and have a minimum of Level 4 Financial Planning Diploma. You will be commercially aware, with high energy levels and an appetite to grow a business.
