• Leading statutory audits and independent examinations from planning to completion
• Supervising and mentoring junior team members throughout the audit process
• Preparing standalone and consolidated statutory accounts, typically in accordance with FRS102 and Charity SORP
• Drafting corporation tax returns and preparing non-audited accounts
• Handling specialist audits, including solicitor rules and charity audits
• Reporting directly to the audit manager and partner

• ACA, ACCA, or AAT qualification, or be qualified by experience
• Corporate tax return preparation and accounts preparation experience in an accountancy practice
• A working knowledge of software such as CCH Audit Automation, CCH Accounts, Xero, SAGE 50, and SAGE Business Cloud (preferred but not essential)
• Strong communication, administration, and organisational skills
• A flexible and collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team

• £38,000 to £48,000 pa
• Full time, permanent position
