Quantity Surveyor (Hotels New Builds and Extensions)
Birmingham
£45K - £55K Per annum

Are you an ambitious Quantity Surveyor / Employer’s Agent looking for an exciting new opportunity? Join our growing hotel and leisure team based in Birmingham!

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in the hotel/leisure industry
• Completed APC or on the path to completion
• Self-motivated with own transport and willingness to travel nationwide
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong client-facing skills
• Effective problem-solving skills and innovative thinking
• Team player with minimal supervision
• Flexible and able to prioritize tasks

Responsibilities:

• Manage estimating and cost planning activities
• Apply value management techniques
• Liaise with clients and design teams
• Monitor on-site progress and attend site meetings
• Answer queries and issue variations
• Conduct cost reporting and ensure compliance with client requirements
• Place and coordinate FF&E orders
• Monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow
• Ensure timely and accurate applications
• Negotiate and agree on final accounts
• Coordinate successful and timely practical completion

• Flexible working hours (Monday to Thursday: 7.5 hours, Friday: 6.5 hours)
