Salary: Up to £45,000

Based in Manchester, my client is a successful UK based Multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Civil and Structural Engineering. I am seeking a talented and experienced Structural Engineer to join their busy team and have the opportunity to participate in domestic projects including timber, steel, concrete or masonry for low-rise buildings.

To be considered for this Structural Engineering role, it is essential for candidate to have the following:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering, specifically with steel, concrete, or timber for low-rise buildings.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of structural design software (e.g., Tekla, Revit, and AutoCAD).
• Academic Qualifications: A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related discipline).
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to provide innovative engineering solutions.

Duties and responsibilities for this Structural Engineer include:

• Design and Analysis: Provide structural design solutions for low-rise buildings using steel, concrete, or timber.
• Project Management: Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure timely and effective delivery of projects.
• Technical Expertise: Use industry-leading software and techniques to analyse structural behaviour, produce drawings, and generate calculations.
• Site Visits: Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, assess issues, and provide on-site technical support.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers and other team members to achieve high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
