Role: Management Accountant

Location: Chesterfield - Hybrid working

Type: 6 months

Daily rate: £200 - £300 per day

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting to the position of a Management Accountant for our Public Sector client based in Chesterfield.

The post holder will be a key member of the finance team with responsibility for ensuring all processes and procedures are in place to provide relevant, accurate and timely management information concerning financial and activity performance to support with financial viability and achievement of targets.

Main duties of the job: Management Accountant

• Provide leadership to the wider finance function including a proactive approach
• Manage the preparation and agreement of annual budgets for specified divisions and maintain accurate records of all budget setting and budget movement
• Manage the preparation and provision of accurate and timely information by the production of integrated financial and activity reports
• Ensure quality assurance controls are in place for key outputs
• Responsible for the monitoring and forecasting of financial performance on a monthly basis, incorporating the use of activity statistics where appropriate, and by applying relevant management accounting techniques

Essential Criteria: Management Accountant

• Experience at a senior level in a complex financial environment
• Management Accounting Experience
• Experience of working effectively in a team
• Track record of financial and non- financial achievement
