Full time (Monday - Thursday 7am - 5:15pm & Friday 7am - 1pm)

ACS Staffing Solutions are recruiting for a Press brake Operator. Our client has over 50 years of manufacturing experience in fabricated metal products, who provides services to a variety of industries including automotive, agriculture, and transport. The Press brake Operator will operate Bystronic press brake machines to manufacture component parts according to drawings and production schedules.

Press Brake Operator Key responsibilities:

• Operate and set Bystronic 80 to 150 tonne press brakes.
• Perform general metalworking duties as required, including rolling, and forming.
• Work flexibly within the sheet metal team, assisting with the laser machine as needed.
• Fulfil any other reasonable requirements consistent with departmental objectives.
• Contribute to departmental output, working towards required KPIs.

What are we looking for in Press Brake Operator?

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Operating a press brake.
• Experience working in a similar environment.
• Ability to operate to tight deadlines.

Desirable:

• Experience working with Bystronic equipment.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, methodical, and precise in their work who has the ability work on their own initiative with minimal supervision.
