ACA/ACCA 1st Practice Move

IPS Finance is working with a professional services company based in Leeds centre on an opportunity which could be an ideal first move from practice into industry.

This is a hybrid working role with 3 days in the office and an excellent range of benefits with a market leading corporate organisation.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is likely to suit a practice trained ACCA or ACA accountant who has gained a broad range of experience including working with LLP and Partnership accounts, any previous personal tax experience would also be beneficial. The role is supported by an assistant accountant and the position offers excellent exposure to a corporate business across various functions including HR, group finance and treasury on both a UK and International basis.

This will include;

• Ensure accurate and timely accounting information is provided.
• Working with the Treasury team to ensure payments are accurate and on time.
• Responsible for the accurate and timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• Preparation of annual statements.
• Building and maintaining good relationships with external advisors.
• Work with group finance on financial planning and analysis.

We a looking for a self starter who wants to make a difference within a forward looking business. You will have good rounded experience working within practice and will be looking to transition this into an industry based role with a market leading employer.
