SEMH LSA

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Teaching Assistant to join one of our great SEMH primary schools. 

Responsibilities:

• Support the emotional and educational needs of students.
• Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviours.
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to provide a nurturing environment.
• Assist in developing and delivering personalized learning plans.

Requirements:

• Experience with mental health and trauma in young people.
• Experience working with SEMH students or in a similar educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle challenging situations.
• Relevant qualifications in education or child development are a plus.
