Salary: 100 - £140 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the school day by supervising students in the absence of their regular teachers. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Delivering pre-set lesson plans: Ensuring students stay on task and supporting them with their learning.
• Managing classroom behaviour: ?? Maintaining a positive learning environment and addressing any behavioural issues.
• Providing support to students: Assisting with any questions or issues that arise during the lesson.
• Liaising with teaching staff: Communicating effectively with teachers and senior staff to ensure continuity of learning.

Requirements:

• Education: Minimum GCSEs in English and Maths (A-levels or a degree is advantageous).
• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within a secondary school setting is highly desirable.
• Skills: ? Strong communication skills, the ability to manage a classroom, and a genuine interest in supporting students' education.
• Flexibility: Ability to adapt to different subjects and year groups.
