Technical Sales Estimator

Job Summary

We are seeking a technical sales estimator to join a dynamic team within the sheet metalwork/engineering division.

Responsibilities

• Analyse technical drawings, specifications, and other documentation to accurately assess requirements.
• Prepare cost estimates, considering factors such as material, labour & finishing costs
• Collaborate with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss existing and new projects.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, pricing data, and project documentation.
• Working closely with key personnel for prototype and development works.

Requirements

• Ability to read technical drawings
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programmes.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in AutoCAD or similar.
• Previous sales experience in sheet metalwork, fabrication or engineering.
