Senior Casualty Adjuster

Role Overview
The successful candidate will oversee a portfolio of high-value and complex casualty claims, providing expert guidance and resolution services to a diverse client base. The role involves thorough investigation, collaboration with stakeholders, and delivering outstanding client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a diverse caseload of complex casualty claims, including employer's liability, public liability, and other liability-related cases.
- Conducting in-depth investigations, such as site visits, witness interviews, and analysis of evidence.
- Working closely with insurers, brokers, legal teams, and third-party providers to ensure claims are resolved efficiently.
- Offering expert advice on coverage, liability, and other technical issues.
- Preparing comprehensive reports and maintaining detailed records in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Supporting and mentoring junior adjusters to enhance team performance.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends, legal developments, and best practices to improve claims-handling processes.
Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrable experience in casualty claims handling or loss adjusting, with strong technical expertise in liability matters.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACII, Dip CILA, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage priorities effectively and perform under pressure.
- Flexibility to travel for site visits and client meetings as necessary.
