ARM have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational activities of the warehouse and distribution.

The Role:

• Manage, develop, and lead a team of HGV drivers and drivers' mates to ensure standard continues to be delivered
• Define and implement standards and support the team through training
• Plan daily transport routes and staffing, delivering great customer service as well as maximising operational and commercial efficiency
• Deliver improvements from idea to implementation with effective project management
• Ensure timely resolution of any issues arising in areas such as health and safety and people management
• Foster a culture of safety by proactively identifying and addressing potential risks or unsafe behaviours, ensuring a secure workplace for all

Requirements:

• Proven experience in logistics management, including managing a team and a fleet
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Full UK drivers licence and forklift licence (training can be organised)
• Excellent leadership, team management and communication skills
• Ability to prioritise effectively and meet tight deadlines
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Strong analytical skills in relation to logistics planning
