We are seeking an IT Technician to support our busy Network Team. This role involves working closely with the ICT Network Manager to ensure the ICT resources in the school are safe and effective. The IT Technician will be pivotal in responding to and resolving hardware and software issues and will act as the first point of contact between system users and the Network Team.

• Provide first-line support for all ICT-related issues within the school.
• Work closely with the ICT Network Manager to maintain and enhance the school’s network and ICT resources.
• Respond to and resolve problems relating to both hardware and software.
• Serve as the first point of contact for system users, offering support and guidance.
• Deputise for the Network Manager in their absence.
• Play a key role in IT projects within the school, from planning through to implementation.

• Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role within an ICT network environment.
• Strong knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide hands-on solutions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining strong relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in educational sector IT support is advantageous but not essential.
