Machine Operative

My client is a leading Manufacturer of packaging Products based in Dukinfield.

We are seeking a Machine Operator to operate our Kongsberg flexo plate cutting device. This is a shift-based role within our production department, where teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the cutting machine efficiently and accurately
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
Perform manual handling tasks as required
Troubleshoot and analyse production issues
Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail
Work systematically and logically under pressure to meet deadlines
Make informed decisions and use initiative to improve processes
Adapt quickly to changing production demands

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Experience operating a cutting machine or similar equipment
Strong work ethic and a team player mentality
Computer literate with the ability to manage digital workflows
Good physical condition to handle manual tasks
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility and quick thinking in response to challenges

Working Hours:
Must be able to do rotation shift!!!
* Morning: Monday to Friday 6:00-14:00
* Afternoon: Monday to Friday 14:00-22:30
* Nights: Monday to Friday, 22:00-06:30

What We Offer:

Salary between £13.73 and £14.87 per hour
