Main Purpose of the Role:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teach Maths up to Key Stage 5, playing a pivotal role in the Maths department.
• Engage in departmental meetings, revision sessions, and extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate on lesson planning to ensure outstanding student progress.
• Uphold the school’s teaching and assessment principles.
• Participate actively in professional development and feedback opportunities within the school network.
• Promote high literacy levels and lead a group in the Tutor Time Reading Programme.
• Set the highest standards and behavioural expectations in lessons and around the school.
• Support the school’s safeguarding policies and contribute to a safe educational environment.

Generic Responsibilities:

• Participate in ongoing professional development.
