About the Role:
As School Business Manager, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day financial and operational management of the school. This will involve:
* Overseeing the school's budget, including forecasting, planning, and monitoring expenditure.
* Managing financial records, accounts payable and receivable, and preparing financial reports.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
* Managing the school's facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and health and safety.
* Overseeing procurement and contracting for goods and services.
* Managing the school's human resources, including recruitment, payroll, and employee relations.
* Leading and motivating a team of support staff.
* Contributing to the school's strategic planning process, identifying and addressing financial and operational challenges.
* Developing and implementing cost-effective solutions to support the school's educational goals.
