CNC Miller/Manual Machinist

Role – CNC/Manual Miller position
Location – Based close to Thetford, Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm and Friday 8am – 1pm
Capacity of role – Permanent position
Salary – Between £15.00 - £17.50 per hour

Our client is currently recruiting for a CNC Miller/Manual Miller to join their machine shop.
Candidates will need to ideally be a time served toolmaker.

Main duties will include –
 Setting up, operating and programming CNC milling machines
 Maintaining the machinery and reporting any defects to management
 Adhering to safety and quality regulations
 Reviewing and interpreting engineering schematics and technical drawings.

Candidate attributes –
 Previous toolmaking experience – ideally working on Hurco or ProtoTrak machinery
 Ability to read technical drawings
 Programming, setting and operating cnc machinery
 Driving licence is necessary due to the location of the business
