Geography Teacher

Tradewind are recruiting for a passionate and dynamic Geography Teacher for a position due to start in January 2025 at one of our Wirral client secondary schools.

The outline for the Geography Teacher based on the Wirral is below:

• Teacher of Geography (KS3 and KS4)
• Wirral secondary school
• Full-time position however part-time may be considered
• Continuing until May 2025.
• Pay is up to MPS6, £223.62 per day

The appointed Geography Teacher will be joining a department whose aim is to provide learners with the knowledge and understanding of the world around them by developing a sense of place and help students gain a better appreciation and understanding of our world at a local, national and global scale. At Key Stage 4 our client school follow the Edexcel GCSE Geography exam specification.

To be considered for this Geography position based on the Wirral the essentials are:

• Experience teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4, following the UK national curriculum
• Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
• Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
• Have a child workforce enhanced DBS on the update service, or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
