Operations Controller

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are excited to be working with one of our standout clients as they look to recruit an Operations Controller into their team in Doncaster on a full time, permanent basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Effective Business Partnering with both Account Managers & Contract Delivery Managers, in order to ensure that financial targets are achieved
• Support the integrity of the financial and internal control environment
• Provision of relevant financial analysis, in order to support decision making on profitability & effective cost control
• Highlight adverse variances to functional management and recommend actions
• Develop a greater financial awareness and understanding within functional Sales & Production Management Teams
• Support the delivery of the Mid Term Planning process for relevant Sales account managers and Production managers
• Preparation of month end reports, commentaries and reporting packs, to demonstrate an understanding of the cause of variances
• Support the continuous improvement of Flow Profitability reporting and analysis
• Support the completion of internal audit work on drivers, ground staff and inventory

Person Specification:

• Qualified / Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA or qualified by experience
• Strong team player, able to work alongside Commercial & Operations managers
• Good finance and analytical skills
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Flexible and enthusiastic
• Good systems skills (SAP, TM1, Excel)
