Bookkeeper

Bookkeeper required. My client is a well-established firm of accountants based in Leeds, who are seeking a bookkeeper to join their team due to recent growth. With nearly 50 years' experience in the trade, my client has grown from a small start-up to a well-respected firm with clients all over the UK.

• General bookkeeping duties
• Preparation and finalisation of VAT returns
• Payroll
• Preparing and submitting CIS returns
• Liaising with clients regarding all aspects of the above
• Manage your own workload and all submissions

Suitable candidates will have previous experience in an accountancy practice, including payroll and will be AAT L3 qualified.

• Previous experience working in an accountancy practice
• Suitable candidates will be AAT L3 qualified
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with payroll, bookkeeping, VAT and CIS
• Must be competent and confusing using cloud technology
• Experience using Xero, Dext, Capium, Sage Payroll

• £28,000-£35,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
• 4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays
• Four day working week - Monday to Thursday (34.5 hours per week)
