Head of Procurement & Supply Chain

Your new company
A market leading global organisation designing, manufacturing and distributing specialist work equipment. They are now seeking a Head of Procurement & Supply Chain to lead the global procurement and supply chain team.

Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and driving the procurement and supply chain strategies designed to drive cost-savings, optimise forecasting and drive supply chain efficiencies. You will lead a large team incorporating demand-planning, purchasing, sourcing, design and inventory management. The Head of Procurement and Supply Chain will drive strategic sourcing, develop collaborative supplier relationships, and manage supplier performance and compliance. Reporting to the board, you will be responsible for managing supply chain budgets and developing innovative initiatives focused on maximising the client experience and driving continuous improvement. Key to success will be strategic and operational business partnering with key internal stakeholders including production, marketing, sales and finance.

What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you are a highly credible Head of Procurement & Supply Chain with extensive experience of leading procurement, demand-planning and supply chain teams. Previous global experience of working with a leadership role within a manufacturing and distrbution business is vital to success.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £70,000 to £85,000 plus company car and bonus.
