Hays Senior Finance and working exclusively with this manufacturing business based in Wolverhampton to help them recruit a Project Financial Controller on a permanent basis. Your new role

The Project Financial Controller job will oversee their financial operations and ensure the success of their projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Control of journal entries and reconciliations
• Preparation of profitability of the projects
• Completion and analysis of the project Capex and other reports
• Assist in the completion of the month-end accounting pack
• Assist in the preparation of the annual audit pack
• Prepare detailed files for all budget and business plan submissions
• Work closely with senior members of various teams to control costs, investments and transactions
• Ensure consistency of reporting of financial KPIs when required
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
• Assist in the completion of Board meetings preparation
• Detailed analysis and reporting on various projects

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a manufacturing environment, they will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and be confident with using excel. Although SAP experience is desired, it is not essential.
