About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Science Teacher to join our team at a specialist school in Redbridge supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire and educate students who require a tailored and nurturing approach to learning.

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons that cater to the diverse needs of SEMH pupils.
• Differentiate teaching methods to support individual learning styles and abilities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic success.
• Work closely with support staff, therapists, and external agencies to implement personalized education plans.
• Assess, track, and report on students' progress regularly.
• Promote social skills, resilience, and self-confidence through creative and practical teaching methods.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Specialization in Science or a related field.
• Experience working with SEN/SEMH pupils is essential.
