Location: Meanwood Urban Valley Farm, Leeds
Hours: Full-time, 08:30 - 15:30, Jan Start

About the Role:

Meanwood Urban Valley Farm is seeking a dedicated and adaptable SEN Teacher to join our team. This full-time position involves working closely with one student who has Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. The studentrequires a portfolio-based learning approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a tailored tuition package for the student.
• Utilize engaging and adaptive teaching methods to meet the student's unique needs.
• Maintain strong administrative skills to manage and document the student's progress.
• Employ evidence-based learning strategies to enhance educational outcomes.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in SEN teaching, particularly with students who have complex learning needs.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Ability to create and adapt engaging lesson plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based teaching practices.
