Group Finance Manager

I'm currently on the look-out for an ambitious Finance Manager to join a fast past, high growth business based in Nuneaton, supporting the Group Financial Controller and operational teams.

The idea of this position is to get involved in the day-to-day running of the finance functions, supporting the MD's from an operational perspective and eventually assist in integrating the company into the larger group who are highly acquisitive. The position will report into the Group FC, who is suitably experienced in their profession and wants to train the right person to not only look after the recently acquired businesses but also have a long-term future in the group function.

This would get you involved in many things inclusive of M&A, FP&A, business partnering, project accounting, group statutory accounts etc and would be a ensure fast-paced progression within your career.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare management, annual and departmental accounts with added commentary to the Group FC.
• Identify areas for process improvement and drive efficiencies across the UK company.
• Improve the financial reporting process and identify key drivers for business decisions.
• Provide input into investment decisions to support business development.

Key requirements:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or QBE with experience in a growing PE backed setting.
• All-round experience as an Accountant with exposure to both management and financial accounts.
• Commercial acumen and business partnering skills or the desire to gain that kind of exposure.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
