Their goal is to ensure every child receives the individual attention they need to thrive.Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with a non-verbal student with Special Educational Needs (SEN), providing tailored support to enhance their learning experience. This part-time role is for afternoons only, five days a week, with the potential to become permanent.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to a non-verbal SEN student, adapting teaching methods to meet their individual needs.
• Assist in the development and implementation of personalised learning plans.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for the student.
• Monitor and record the student's progress and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.
• Support the student in developing communication skills and social interactions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with non-verbal SEN students is essential.
• Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with children.
• Relevant qualifications in special education or a related field are desirable.
