Company Accountant | £40,000 - £45,000 | Dronfield

The Opportunity

Professional, growing and welcoming SME based near Dronfield have an opportunity for an experienced and capable hands on Company Accountant / Bookkeeper.

This is an expanding business and your role will report directly to the approachable and experienced Head of Finance.

The remit will include all aspects of the day to day accounting / financial management / month end related tasks and transactional finance (AP / AR / reconciliations / VAT returns etc).

The remit is hands on and varied and you need to have excellent core accounting skills and ideally previous experience of Sage software.

Required:

• Previous experience as Bookkeeper / Company Accountant / Accounts Manager within a reasonably complex SME or Group of companies.
• Excellent core accounting skills and experience.
• AAT or equivalent as a minimum.
• Confidence using Excel (and Sage software ideally).
• Ability to work independently towards deadlines (able to manage time and prioritise effectively).

This would suit an experienced and diligent accountant who enjoys working in an ambitious, professional and growing smaller business.
