Assistant Finance Business Partner

Assistant Finance Business Partner | £24 - £26 per hour (Umbrella) | Temporary

Castlefield Recruitment are working with a reputable organisation in Merseyside who are looking to recruit an Assistant Finance Business Partner to their team on an initial 3 month contact with strong potential for extension for a permanent contract, to support during a period of growth and change. This role offers hybrid and flexible working and the opportunity to learn from other reputable sector professionals.

Duties:

• Preparing financial forecasts, performing departmental audits and analysing the company’s financial performance
• Providing support and advice for the wider business, including colleagues with a non-financial background
• Analysing and extrapolating data to communicate to finance and non-finance staff
• Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts, posting prepayments, accruals and other journals
• Building and maintaining relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders

Experience:

• Previous experience working in an Assistant Accountant role (at least 2+ years)
• Advanced excel skills and strong financial system knowledge
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Available to start next assignment immediately
