Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver effective and engaging history lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and 4.
Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and analysis of historical events and trends.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
Contribute to the development of the history curriculum and resources.
Support the personal, social, and emotional development of students.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in school-wide initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A degree in History or a related subject (QTS is desirable).
Proven experience of teaching History in a secondary school setting.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for history.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to promoting the welfare and development of young people.
A positive and proactive attitude, with a focus on student achievement.
