An Faringdon based primary school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from January 2025. This is a temporary position, initially until 31st August 2025, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact in the foundation stage of children's learning.

About the Faringdon Role:
The role of an EYFS Teaching Assistant is vital in supporting young learners as they embark on their educational journey. Working within a positive and nurturing environment, the successful candidate will help foster curiosity, creativity, and foundational skills in children during their Early Years Foundation Stage.

• Holds a certificate in Level 2/3/4 Childcare (bonus)
• Reliability, warmth, and kindness in working with young children.
• Enthusiasm and a strong desire to make a difference in children's learning and development.
• Experience working within a primary school or Early Years environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with pupils and staff.
• Professionalism and respect for confidentiality in a school setting.

Position Details:

• Contract Type: Temporary, starting January 2025, ending 31st August 2025.
• Location: Faringdon (Oxfordshire) - great commute from Swindon.
• Hours:
  • 27.5 hours per week, term-time only (£83.50 - £90 per day).
