Lead Software Developer in Test (Python coding and expertise required). If so, you could be joining a fast-growing Fintech that is helping to revolutionise the market using advanced data centric, Cloud based technology. 80% hands on automation testing with 20% overseeing a team of 4.

As a Software Developer in Test, you will join a fully remote cross functional Agile team responsible for the design, development and quality of highly complex software and systems. As an integral part of the team you will build the automation framework from the ground up and write automated tests from scratch for Golang and PHP software and RESTful APIs. You'll take ownership and provide guidance on testing to software developers ensuring that software is developed with testing in mind utilising Selenium Python, Cypress and JavaScript.

There is currently a fully remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home fulltime, with brainstorming sessions in the London office once a month.

Requirements:

• Strong Python, JavaScript or similar coding/scripting skills with experience of developing automated tests from scratch
• Good knowledge of testing SQL
• Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile development processes
• Collaborative with clear communication skills
• Leveraging Selenium Python framework to design and automate end-to-end tests, significantly reducing manual testing effort and improving test coverage
• Interest in Event Driven Architecture
