As part of their growth and development, they are looking to recruit a Health & Safety Manager to lead and implement health and safety initiatives across the business.

Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain health and safety policies in line with current legislation, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated.
- Collaborate with production teams to drive safety improvements and ensure practical, effective safety practices are embedded across the business.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, providing training and regular meetings for employees.
- Lead the process of risk assessments, inspections, and accident investigations.
- Identify hazards, assess risks, and develop strategies to reduce safety risks across all areas.
- Investigate incidents and complaints related to health and safety and produce detailed reports for senior management.
- Ensure safe operational practices are maintained, and any changes in legislation are adhered to.
- Support the implementation of safety improvement projects, including preparing business cases and proposals for funding.
- Liaise with maintenance teams to ensure that machinery and equipment are installed and maintained safely.
- Ensure compliance with First Aid and Fire Marshall responsibilities as per company policies.
Requirements: - NEBOSH qualified
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently engage with people at all levels.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- IT proficient, with experience using Microsoft Office tools.
- A practical approach to applying health and safety best practices in a manufacturing setting.
