Job Title: Automotive Account Manager
Location: Wolverhampton with some Travel Required

£35k to £42k plus £5k car allowance, 25 + BH Holidays, Enhanced Pension 8% plus many more benefits.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 08:00-17:00, Friday 08:00-13:00 (Flexibility required for business needs)

About the Role
As an Automotive Account Manager, you will be the primary liaison between our internal teams and our valued automotive customers. You will play a pivotal role in managing current business while identifying and supporting new opportunities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading day-to-day commercial liaison with customers.
  • Preparing and analyzingcustomer data for project cycles, pricing agreements, and claims.
  • Managing quotation activities, negotiations, and order progress.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards.
  • Collating and maintaining sales management data, including pricing, volumes, and project timelines.

About You
To excel in this role, you should bring:

  • Proven experience in a sales or account management role, preferably within the automotive sector.
  • Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen.
  • Exceptional communication skills (English required; an additional European language, such as Spanish, is advantageous).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, SAP, and MS Office.
  • A results-driven attitude with the ability to manage and prioritize workloads effectively.
  • The flexibility to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Key Competencies

  • Proven negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex customer interactions.
  • Experience with the development of automotive components, ideally with knowledge of metal forming and assembly techniques.
  • Strong team-working skills with a collaborative approach.
