Senior Finance Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Administrator based in Bedford for one of our clients on a permanent basis. Our client is a local Educational trust and they are looking for someone to support the Finance Manager during term time only.

Responsibilities of theSenior Finance Administrator 

• Prepare, code and raise invoices.
• Complete month-end processes including bank and petty cash reconciliations.
• VAT Returns.
• Salary and cash-book journals.
• Resolve invoice queries and chase debts.
• Supplier statements.
• Process expenses.
• Create reports and assist the Finance Manager with the annual budget setting process.
• Assist the Finance Manager with audits.

Requirements for a successful Senior Finance Administrator 

• AAT qualified or working towards.
• Demonstrable Finance Administration experience.
• Experience working within a school would be advantageous.
• Strong IT skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail.

Salary: £26,348 - £28597
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent  - term time only
Hours: Full-time
