Property Manager

Collins Property Recruitment is partnering with an established East-London/Essex -based independent Estate Agency who have an exceptional local reputation and are known for their honest, professional, and reliably good service levels.

An incredible opportunity has arisen for a Property Manager to join their already established team in South Woodford. The company is a unique Lettings & Management organisation offering traditional rental services. In addition, the practice is one of London’s most successful Rent Guarantee Service Provision Specialists. Procuring all types of property for Local & Central Government to fulfil Emergency Housing needs.

The successful candidate must have a proven track record, dynamic, organised, have good people skills, articulate & ambitious.

Job overview:

• Property Manager.
• £30,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
• Based in South Woodford.
• Full time, permanent.
• Monday - Friday 8.30 - 5.30pm or 9.00 to 6pm.

Responsibilities of the Property Manager will include:

• Monitoring and chasing daily rents that are due.
• Handling maintenance enquiries.
• Dealing with safety certification (gas/electric).
• Organising tenancy renewals.
• Arranging end-of-tenancy checkouts.
• Controlling Property License applications.
• Serving Section 21 and Section 8 notices.
• Court applications for possession.
• Attending court for hearings.
• Meeting locksmiths/clients on bailiff appointments.
• Cross-selling Sales, Lettings, and Property Management services.
• Ensuring service levels and positive reviews are maintained and CRM data reporting systems are upheld.

Skills required for the Property Manager role include:

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and organisational skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Strong timekeeping and time management.
• Proficient IT skills.
• Full UK Driving License required.
• Industry-recognised qualifications, such as NAEA, NFOPP and ARLA, are advantageous but not essential.
