Sea Freight Exports Clerk

Our client is a global freight forwarding company with a network of offices worldwide within 200 locations, including 85 owned branches, which means that they are able to ensure the same quality standards worldwide for a complete logistics service
Due to expansion our client is now looking for an Sea Freight Exports Clerk join the team at their Wythenshawe location, joining a large well established team of freight forwarders
Your role will involve the full end to end operational exports cycle and will include

* Bookings,
* Quotes,
* LCL/FCL movements
* Full Sea exports documentation
* Using Cargowise for entries and clearances
* Invoicing

You will need to have a good knowledge of sea freight exports, customs entries and procedures. The use of Cargowise would be ideal
You will also need to be IT Literate, have strong communication skills and be able to relate to customers, able to work under pressure and keep to tight deadlines.

Salary and Benefits
£24,000 to £34,000
Company pension
Company Bonus scheme performance related. - up to 20% depending on salary bracket.
