Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working on an exclusive basis with a successful and well established service business based in Doncaster as they look for a finance Business Partner to work as part of their dedicated FP&A team. 

The company offers excellent benefits including: -

  • Hybrid working - 2 days a week in the office 

The successful candidate will work closely with the local management team and key stakeholders across the business. The role will be responsible for shaping and delivering management information including management accounts, internal reporting requirements and cost management tracking.

It will be a varied role with duties to include:- 

  • Preparation of month end results detailing expected performance for both the Bank and management teams
  • Delivery of monthly reporting packs, outlining key financial performance metrics 
  • Business partner with senior stakeholders to create cost budgets, monitor actual spend and help to identify cost saving opportunities, efficiencies and potential risks
  • Support with sales analysis
  • Provide timely commentary and variance analysis to support understanding of financial performance against budgets, forecasts and prior year
  • Draft communications to investor relations relating to performance, including gathering supporting evidence
  • Partner with the Operations, Sales, Marketing and other functions, helping them to understand and control key cost drivers

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have the following skills and experiences: - 

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in technical aspects of accounting
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Confident in working with senior stakeholders
  • Engaging communication style and the ability to explain complex financial matters to non-finance colleagues
  • Professional communication skills, both oral and written
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Good time management skills and ability to work under pressure
