Year 2 Teacher

Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher looking for a new role? Step Teachers are working with a Primary School in Edgware that was rated "Good" under Ofsted's previous grading system for schools - they're looking for an experienced Year 2 Teacher to join their team in January 2025, supporting a class of well-behaved and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 pupils. This Year 2 Teacher should be passionate and ready to engage with their students, contributing to a school that prides itself on creating an encouraging and motivational atmosphere for their pupils. The school is open to hearing from experienced teachers that are available for a minimum of 4 days per week.

• Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
• Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
• Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school.
• Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
• Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.

• Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Have recent experience as a Class Teacher in a primary school.
• Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
