Job Title: Asbestos Consultant

Salary/Benefits: £24k - £42k + Training & Benefits

We are seeking a knowledgeable Asbestos Consultant, with excellent hands-on surveying and analytical experience as well as a proven track record of maintaining successful client relationships. Our Client is a privately-owned Environmental outfit, with a family feel and excellent reputation within the industry. They can offer fantastic salaries and packages as well as thorough training and future development prospects. Access to the M1 and M62 would be beneficial for candidates.

You will be covering client sites across: Leeds, Garforth, Wetherby, Selby, York, Harrogate, Ripon, Otley, Ilkley, Skipton, Keighley, Bingley, Bradford, Halifax, Huddersfield, Batley, Dewsbury, Wakefield, Castleford, Pontefract, Barnsley, Mexborough, Rotherham, Doncaster, Thorne, Sheffield, Worksop, Chesterfield, Oldham, Rochdale, Bury.

Experience / Qualifications:
- You will have a successful track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, ideally for a UKAS accredited outfit
- Must be qualified with the BOHS P402, P403 & P404 qualifications (or RSPH equivalents)
- Able to demonstrate excellent technical knowledge - including UKAS, HSG 264 & HSG 248 guidelines
- Ideally will be proficient in using TEAMS
- Comfortable producing detailed written reports
- Strong client-facing skills and professional manner

The Role:
- Undertaking Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Asbestos surveys across a wide range of client sites
- Conducting 4 Stage Clearances as well as personal, leak, background and reoccupation air testing
- Producing comprehensive written reports for Clients
- Overseeing maintenance of equipment, including calibrations and maintenance
- Liaising with Clients directly, in order to organise appointments, discuss contractual requirements and technical matters
- Assisting the management team with pricing of works and daily operations
